Ministers Pathway
Ministers are trying to discover how they can grow consistently and gain spiritual maturity. Ministers are moving from early spiritual victories to establishing their lives on Jesus.
STRUGGLES for MINISTERS
Ministers often lack the patience and discipline to make serious strides on their journey, opting for quick fixes over long-term answers. Ministers can also face the temptation of becoming judgmental because they are trying to put distance between them and their old life.
NEXT STEPS for MINISTERS
If connected to a church
- Confess your sin early and often. No matter what you’ve done, concealed sin kills.
- Ask Jesus for spiritual empathy as you listen to people share their struggles.
- Learn to linger in Jesus’ presence in prayer and worship, listening for what the Spirit is saying.
- Submit to spiritual leadership in your church. They are often good at helping people make strides on their journey.
If disconnected from church
- Make it an absolute priority to find a church quickly, even if it’s not a perfect fit. Pray for guidance and don’t be too picky. Google Maps view of churches in your area
- If you’re leaving a church in disagreement, either make amends to return or leave in peace, but after that, resume the church search quickly.
