Developers Pathway

Developers look for ways leaders and/or systems can improve in how they reflect Jesus and his Kingdom. Using wisdom and discernment, Developers pave the way for Jesus-empowered leadership to flourish to impact more people.

STRUGGLES for DEVELOPERS

Developers can slip into pragmatism when working to improve a situation, launching into steps and outcomes without consulting Jesus. Developers also can struggle with feeling theologically inadequate to lead in situations of spiritual significance.

NEXT STEPS for DEVELOPERS

If connected to a church

- Take time to pray through decisions and give it time to breathe with counsel. Perspectives can often soften or harden as the Spirit speaks to you about it, and as you hear what others have to say.

- Help your team find processes that incorporate the head, the heart, and the hands. Uncovering all of a situation is key to finding great solutions.

- Look for ways to add benefit and efficiency in situations your team is already involved in.

- Find ways to become more biblically sound by studying theology. For example, learn how Jesus deals with persistent sin by looking up everything the Bible says about it, not just from one or two verses.

If disconnected from church

- Make it an absolute priority to find a church quickly, even if it’s not a perfect fit. Pray for guidance and don’t be too picky. Google Maps view of churches in your area

- If you’re leaving a church in disagreement, either make amends to return or leave in peace, but after that, resume the church search quickly.
